Libchart
Yes, a cryptic title for a PHP orientated post, on none other than VizNau. It is so close to being opened up for private beta testing I can almost smell it, so if you want an account just shout me, and I will be happy to open one for you.
So the point.. oh yeh, the point. Libchart is the graphing solution I have chosen, at least for the moment, to provide the various visual elements on VizNau. These could include net worth charts, various income and expenditure graphs, what you’re spending money on views, and all sorts of other exciting things. The point really is that this is a fantastically easy to use PHP library, literally taking me just ten minutes to add a quick Net Worth visualisation to the main VizNau homepage. The only error message I even saw was entirely my fault (I hadn’t created a directory to hold the images…) and once this was fixed it ‘Just Worked’. Simply amazing, and a credit to it’s creator Jean-Marc Trémeaux. Awesome name too dude.
