Currys, Part Deux
Yes, there’s a part two of my Currys saga. And it doesn’t get any prettier. If you noticed how I didn’t post in the last couple of days (and you’re a very sad individual for doing so) you may be wondering what on earth I was using my new router for… well, as it happens, not much. Nope, the seemingly high quality Netgear router I purchased for 45GBP was faulty. After two days of constant dropped connections I finally flipped and returned the damn thing for a refund. Fortunately eBuyer were prompt in delivering my new Buffalo router, which has so far been excellent, so fingers crossed it holds out longer than the last.
As you’ve probably guessed the refund process was pretty un eventful, not so much as an apology for the faulty goods or a thanks for our custom. I did make sure to point out the disgraceful treatment we received whilst purchasing the product, but the employee (manager in fact) simply glossed over this issue and continued with his work. Not very professional at all I must say. Oh well. He doesn’t run a very good store anyway, why change things. I mean, how long do you think this display was stood on a BSOD before I noticed? And more interestingly will it still be like that tomorrow?? I’m gonna go with yes for the latter, and a couple days for the former. And is that’s why it’s on sale? Probably.
