The Posting Returns
Okay, okay, okay, I apologise once again for letting the side down, it’s just lots of shit has been happening here. And yes, of course I can swear, it’s my blog. I can say whatever the fuck I want, damn it! Well, within reason I guess…
As well as being at work for the past four days, the electricity in my home has been up and down like a yo-yo. Obviously this is bad in the first place because I haven’t got a coal powered PC, but it also sucks due to my Internet connection being the most persnickity little bitch of a thing at the best of times. This constant resetting of the router seems to be playing havoc with the speed, one second it’s up at five/six megabits a second, next it’s crawling around at two or three. This makes getting any real work done a nightmare, especially as the upload rate is just as erratic.
As you’ve probably guessed (well done for staying with me thus far though) I don’t really have anything relevant to say here, apart from warning you of some impending posts that will hopefully be great, so stay watching for those. I’ll probably complete a couple this evening, so don’t worry, you won’t have long to wait. Ooh and I will also take this opportunity to break news of the next major event on the horizon. Although still a murky blur at the moment, you should start getting ready for the somecrazy.com Podcast I hope to be launching before much longer. Preliminary ideas have been thrown around about the format and content, as follows.
Ideally it will be a radio style show, with three hosts (at least, that’s what we have so far, there is nothing concrete yet, or probably ever) and basically we sit down and discuss the weeks technology/movie/television/student news over a cup of coffee. It will be recorded over Skype, as the hosts (myself included) are spread far and wide over the country, and it may be a weekly event, or possibly bi monthly. And by ’spread far and wide’ I do not mean literally, ‘each person is spread over a large area’, I mean, umm… well you know full well what I mean.
