A late one today, and some good news - the first episode has been recorded! Good times people, hopefully it will be available for download sometime this evening, if not, then early tomorrow morning. Woop!
Onto the quote. And boy was this a tough one! Seriously, I could have picked any of the possible daily quotes this time round, but in the end I went for the iconic. The classic. The truly universal. Yes, from Mr Orwell himself, the ‘more equal’ than others’ quote. I mean, was there really any competition? Not really. I do hope the others roll round again though, as they were pretty good.
And the secondary quote? Really doesn’t stand a chance does it. Although I must just say this does go against some of my principles, in that I always try to finish what I start… I featured it however, as the date intrigued me. This was spoken in none other than the 17th century. I mean wow! They thought this that long ago? We should all have flying cars and be eating space food by now, this dude was way ahead of his time.
